Our Story

Our name means “Bag for Life”. And to us, handbags are more than just an accessory. We have been in the luxury handbag business for years and like our clients around the world, we are wildly passionate about handbags. We know how you feel about your bag, which is why we understand that it is an investment to be cared for.

For years, we searched for a simple and effective way to protect and preserve handbags during storage. We saw, heard and read about all the things others were doing and we knew there had to be a better way. Since no product existed, we created our own.

The result is the Bag-a-Vie Purse Pillow Shaper. A simple but elegant creation that is as fun as it is functional. Our Pillow Shapers will ensure your handbags are well cared for while in storage. Each Bag-a-Vie is constructed with the same moisture-absorbing products used by many manufacturers to store and protect their handbags. The only difference is that the Bag-a-Vie has about 10 times the moisture-absorbing capacity and is neatly and discretely encased in a beautiful and luxurious package.

NOTE: your Bag-a-Vie’s ability to protect your handbag against moisture will depend on many factors including how humid the surrounding environment is. You should always store all your leather products in a cool, dry place. To refresh your Bag-a-Vie and regenerate our patented moisture absorbing technology, simply place it in your dryer or out in the sun for about an hour. For maximum effectiveness, we recommend you replace your Bag-a-Vie every 1-2 years, depending on your storage environment.

These bag shapers are the best. They are less wide than most so they don’t affect the pleats on the sides, they are taller so the triangular shape of the bag is maintained, they are exactly the right width and they are silky soft so they are easier to put in and remove. They also absorb moisture. When using these, do not pull the straps tight. Leave them a little bit open, store the bag on its back and it will maintain a store fresh shape forever. I will only use these in my Hermes bags.

This works fantastic for the Jypsiere 28. The pillow helps keep the structure of the bag when the bag is not in use. This pillow is soft enough that I’m not concerned about the leather stretching out when using it. Highly recommended!
